In the Wonder Room last week, we created an electromagnet. Ours worked, but it was very weak. Here's a video showing a stronger electromagnet. It also reminds you of the three ways to make an electromagnet stronger.
I learned that when you hook up a battery and wrap wire around something that is not a magnet but is metal…it will turn into a magnet and attracts things that magnets attract to because the power of the battery is too strong for the screw which makes it become magnetic. Boyce
