Reading: We will
be looking at different genres of literature such as fables and tall tales
and discussing their morals. We will also be discussing author’s purpose.

Writing/Language:
In preparation for the ACT Aspire writing test, we
will continue looking at on-demand writing. In addition, we will begin
writing our own tall tales! We will also be reviewing homophones and verb
tenses.

Math:
We will continue in our unit on fractions this
week with multiplying fractions by fractions an converting tenths to
hundredths.
|
Science/Social Studies:
In science we will continue in astronomy with the
reason for the seasons and moon phases.
In social studies we will continue our unit on government by discussing the 3 branches of government and checks & balances.
