Oh Deer!

Last week in science we played two games. The first, "Oh Deer," demonstrated how organisms depend on their environment for survival. The second, "Hop Scotch Migration," showed how organisms can negatively affect their environment, and therefore, other organisms. Here's what the kids had to say about these games:

Oh Deer:
I learned that everything depends on each other. How you play is the deer are on one line and the resources are on the other. The deer and the resources pick  a resource. They have choices between watter, food, and shelter. The deer would get the resource  that they pict  and took it to there side and the people that didn’t get a resource turned in to a resource. And when the deer population got smaller because there weren’t enough resources. When there were enough resources the deer population grew.
